Fake Paparazzi

I posed as a fake paparazzi for a T mobile event. It was really more acting than a photography, (with photo equipment). It wasn't so bad being crowded, knowing I didn't have to elbow anyone to get the shot. The word paparazzi comes from Fellini's La Dolce Vita, a news photographer named Paparazzo. Fellini knew a boy with that nickname, which means noisy buzzing mosquito.

My friend was there, an actor herself, model, singer and wonderful headshot photographer. Here is a quick shot I took of her and an experimental Lightroom variation...
Here is one more...
A great view from the opening of the little white tent, looking down the sidewalk...
I loved watching the bouncer with his big umbrella reflected in all the colored lights.

Toll House cookies w/sprinkles

Making cookies on a Saturday afternoon...Toll House was a real place near where I grew up. My mom taught me how to make them and her mom taught her. It's a good thing the recipe is on the package so one can never loose it! Yuuummmm!!!! We added the sprinkles...

Snow Day

This was the most snow we had all year. Time for a trip to the park after school.
The boys are like little puppies playing in the snow. Running and running, lying down and making snow angels, kicking and touching every snowflake.

Boys love their sticks, and what a find!
After the park someone was too tired to walk home. I looked up and there was a Dunkin Donuts. I said, How would you like some hot chocolate? Add a half a chocolate donut and a disaster was averted!
It was great to warm up and watch the snow out of the big windows! Looks like a few policemen and bus dispatchers were enjoying some hot chocolate too, and happy to get out of the weather.

NY Aquarium

Deep Sea 3D.
A virtual ride on a submersible attacked by a giant squid. 3D
glasses make you feel right there, the seats rock and roll. Is it
scary, or the most fun... That depends...
